Currently it does not matter if a product is technically or
functionally better or worse. The Market has so many operators, so many
companies that manufacture similar things, that the products have very similar
characteristics, quality standards that exceed our needs and functionalities
that far exceed our expectations.

smartphone is better than another of the same range in a truly objective way?
Brands make products or provide services that far exceed
our basic needs. Food has more nutrients than we burn, appliances do more than
we need, clothing is functionally better than it was hundreds of years ago.
